Newland USA Accompanies IIUSA’s EB-5 Event

The Founder of Newland USA highlights the unique characteristics of the Vietnamese market and the pivotal role of consulting firms at the Association to Invest In the USA (IIUSA) seminar.

At the “IIUSA EB-5 Event Passport Series,” experts gathered to discuss key topics, including recent policy updates from Congress and the White House regarding the EB-5 program, processing trends following the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act (RIA), and empirical data on application adjudication timelines. Concurrently, speakers shared insights from immigration consultancy perspectives on selecting suitable projects for Vietnamese investors. The event also offered an invaluable opportunity for industry stakeholders to connect directly with US-based EB-5 partners.

Participating in the panel discussion, Mr. Chau Tam Luan—Founder and General Director of Newland USA—outlined the key criteria for selecting EB-5 projects tailored to Vietnamese investors. According to him, unlike some other markets, Vietnamese investors typically prioritize permanent residency goals and capital preservation above all else. Consequently, evaluating the capital structure, the developer’s financial equity, and the job creation roadmap are the foundational factors before making an investment decision.
